Here's what's new... My band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets played the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle to about 8000 people and now has a song called "Shhh...." as a downloadable track for the popular video game Rock Band. I starred in a student film called "The Summoning" which is in production. Mike Jackson's film The Veil (I played a psychiatrist) is now on DVD from Crypt Club. Some of my art appeared in the book Tour de Lovecraft (Atomic Overmind Press) and A Lovecraft Retrospective (Centipede Press). Also I did cover art for the Outnumbered comic book. Here's what's old... I played a professor in a UBC Film Production called Hello/Goodbye which got some awards. I also did voiceover for a Toyota commercial. My band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets is preparing to play the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle during the last weekend of August and the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in October. I've been working on a few comic books, including a Tales from the World Wildlife Federation of Justice story for Cloudscape Comics and will be in attendance at Comix & Stories at the Vancouver Art Gallery with my work. Here's what's older... I got a guest star role in the Stargate Atlantis episode "Midway" which airs on Feb 1 2007. The album "The Shadow Out of Tim" by my band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets was released this summer to unilateral acclaim. I reprised my role as the unscrupulous doctor in Steam Powered Films'/Mike Jackson's follow-up to The Veil, which is called The Vessel and debuted at the 2007 Bloodshots Horror Film Festival. Here's what's oldest... I am in a commercial for Mattel remote controlled robotic monsters called N.S.E.C.T.s. I played the mad scientist who created the creatures and it's playing all over Canada and the US. I've been doing more voice acting lately, for video games and tourism DVDs. The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets new album is being mixed, mastered, and I'm working on the cover art - still on schedule for Spring. The comic book course I'm taking is almost over, but you can track the progress of my Spaceship Zero comic here on my blog. I'm also working on art for a video game, some more D&D supplements, the Outnumbered comic book, and a children's book. Busy busy busy! Here's what's ancient... I have opened an online store called Dead Space God Central for the selling of my giant squid light switch covers and merch for The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets (check out the "Greasy Spawn" toques!). We are currently recording the vocals for our new album and will be mixing in February, with possible release in march. I played a mad scientist in a toy commercial for Mattel and that will be airing in March. I am taking a comic book production course in the hopes of getting a grant to pay for either a Spaceship Zero or a World Wildlife Federation of Justice comic!
